Bringing warmth to a Portland hospice house

Here at Cadet we believe in giving back to the community. It’s no coincidence that our tagline is “Inviting warmth.”

Jamie Koenig, who works in our human resources department, has spent the past month or so working to redesign the interior of a caretaker room at the Martha & Mary Ministries Hospice House in southeast Portland.

“I feel like it’s important that when I have free time I do something that leaves a positive mark on the world,” she said.

While painting the room on a recent weekend she noticed that the house uses Cadet electric wall heaters.

“I was just tickled to see the Cadets in there,” she said.
