Cadet Heat is proud to belong to the Adopt-a-Highway program, and this year volunteers battled high temperatures to beautify our slice of the Northwest.
In May, Cadet hosted a Toyota Kata improvement and coaching workshop for members of Northwest High Performance Enterprise Consortium (NWHPEC).
Cadet Heat recently helped one of Vancouver’s largest homeless shelters–Share House– with the gift of heat.
Rebuilding Together Portland is an volunteer group that helps folks who can’t physically or financially make needed home repairs. See the Cadet Heat video.

A few of us spent the day in downtown Portland last week to talk with folks at the Multifamily NW Maintenance Fair.
Brandon Borschel, our Territory Manager for Oregon and Southwest Washington, said he wanted folks in the maintenance community to know that we’re all about helping our customers be successful, whether that’s by answering a question over the phone, helping find parts or looking at product recommendations.
“We’re not just selling products,” he said. “We’re here to support you.”
Steve from our tech support department also spent the day at the fair. He said it was nice to talk to people face to face. A lot of the time he is answering questions over the phone or through e-mail.
“It’s helpful to have that personal interaction,” he said.
At the end of the day about 200 people wandered through our booth. We were glad to be able to attend and make those connections.
We have a pretty extensive video collection of installation guides, product highlights and corporate videos on our YouTube page. Our goal in 2015 is to add even more, and work on updating our entire catalog to fit into our new branding we rolled out last year.
As we enter 2015, it’s easy for the focus to be solely on plans and goals for the coming year. But it’s also important to reflect on accomplishments from the previous year. We had a great 2014, in large part due to the overwhelming support we get from of our customers, partners and employees.
