Johnny Brooke runs a workshop out of his garage where he makes popular YouTube videos that he posts to his channel, Crafted Workshop. His main focus in on woodworking and metalworking with projects including “How to Turn an Aluminum Knob on a Metal Lathe” to making a “Live Edge Shelf.”
Naturally when he spends 5 days a week in his garage-turned workshop, he’s going to want to do what he can to stay comfortable.
A few months ago, he approached us looking for help winterizing his workshop. He’d heard about Cadet’s garage heater and thought it would be a good fit for his workshop. It’s relatively inexpensive compared to other heating options available, and because he’s using it in a workshop, he already has 240-volt service readily available.
We loved the idea and sent him a heater to test and agreed to sponsor his video. That being said, we wanted Johnny to provide his honest feedback on what he thought. Check out the video above to hear his thoughts, and to see what your other options are for adding heat to a garage workshop. To find out more about Johnny’s project, check out his blog post below.
