Rated 5 out of 5 by summer_song from My wonderful living room heater The cadet heaters were already present in the home my husband and I bought about three years ago. In an area where wood smoke is the number one air contaminate (even above cars), I'm grateful that we have these wonderful heaters to keep us warm in the winter. Although hydropower has it's flaws, they help me feel like I'm doing my part to keep the air clean. We didn't install the heaters, but they are so easy to take apart for their bi-annual cleaning. We are planning on adding a few to the bedrooms for more furniture arrangement options. I wouldn't go with a different kind of heater.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Northern mn grampa of 14 from This is the best way to heat a larger space quickly when use in conjunction with in floor heating set at lower temp and off peak or duel fuel electrical upgrades One unit brings our or DR, LR, KIt and hall up to temp in minutes before quests arrive kids love comming in from the cold and standing near it . It does not use up the equivalent of 36 ft of electrics baseboard , furniture placement is not restricted by baseboard heaters cleaning the unit annually will extend life I've had mine in operation for 10 years new house units for three years .$ .057 per kWh x 4.5 that's only thirty cents per hour of use with taxes and fees it does not replace your primary heating system matey a small two room well insulated cabin Main thermostats is set at 64 degrees one of these per zone saves me $58.00 per year on heating bill the cadet dual 4500 w keep our living first floor area at 70 day 68 night guest area 60 day 73 upon arrival and garage 50 day 68 when working or cleaning cars. Rated 5 out of 5 by robertweb from Small Size, Big Warmth, Great Quality. I installed Cadet heaters in my house more than 20 years ago and they are a great product. I used them in my finished basement, in an addition and to replace several original baseboard heaters. I also have a 5000 watt Cadet "Hot One" in my garage that is perfect to take the chill off during the occasional winter project. They take up very little wall space compared to baseboard heat and the I find the fan helps distribute the heat more effectively in the room. I have 11 Cadet heaters installed for 20 plus years and so far I have had only one that needed repair, a fan failure, which is pretty impressive. Overall a top quality product, I highly recommend Cadet products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by gbc1234 from twin 220 volt heater I have used these heaters for a few years now, the problem I am having only with the twin 220 volt heaters is that one side always stops heating and blows cold air, some have reset buttons that work but bolonbger fixes the problems the replace, ment I purchased I found out when one side stopped heating does not have the reset switch, I have looked on their websit but have not found a solution, I currently have three twins installed and two of them have one side not heating, Hope the company sees my review and decides to post a posssible fix, It could be the thermostat but don't want to buy parts if it is not the problem., the twins worked for about 2 years, the last one only worked one winter, BEWARE of the TWIN 220 volt heaters, the single 110 volts work fine none of them have gone bad they are about 5 years old
