Promoting from within

Jordan, Alex and Shari have recently accepted new positions within the Cadet family. Someone once said that if you find your passion, you will never have to work another day in your life. At Cadet, we are extremely passionate about offering our customers the best products and services in the industry and we sure work hard to make this happen! We would like to recognize Shari DeMaris, Jordan Selby and Alex Miller for their amazing work and dedication, but most importantly, for making Cadet the place where they wish to further their careers. First, we are super thrilled to announce the promotion of Shari DeMaris to Controller in the Accounting Department. With seven years of accounting experience, a Master’s degree and CPA license, Shari is a Jedi master of all things related to financial reporting, budget and corporate accounting. Since her arrival three years ago, she has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and a true passion for Cadet’s mission. Next, we have Jordan Selby. Jordan started his career at Cadet back in 2012 in our Fabrication Department and since then has worked in different areas of our Customer Service Department. In his new role as a Technical Support Representative, Jordan helps our customers with the troubleshooting and installation of Cadet heaters. Next time you talk to Jordan remember that you are getting expert advice from a member of our team who has actually built our products! Finally, we want to give a big shout-out to our wonderful Alex Miller who was just recently promoted to Customer Service Representative! Alex started her career as Cadet’s Front Desk Coordinator in 2014. Alex managed a Chiropractic office prior to coming to Cadet. She is a true ambassador of Cadet’s brand and mission. Her positive energy and endless thirst for knowledge helps us find solutions to our customers’ needs. Both Alex and Jordan will continue to report to Jonathan Kaylor, our Director of Customer Service, who is thrilled with his staff advancing their careers at Cadet. "As a manger I try and develop my people and give them opportunities for them to advance," he said. "I feel very fortunate to have great people working with me and that I was able to give Jordan and Alex these promotions at the same time." At Cadet we know that the best way to offer our customers the best products is by empowering our employees to be better every day and for that we work tirelessly.
